Better sliced shot. I want to say I've gotten better since then but that looks pretty good. I wonder if that was actually a flat or if I separated the flat and point. Blasphemy!
 
Happy anniversary! That's a nice looking brisky Dustin. I've only done four so far all on smoke day except last year on smoke day we had steady 35mph winds with gusts up to 60mph. So I did it the following week. They all came out great the last one was the best super tender and moist. I've got #5 in the freezer and the Camp Chef will get the call for that one fairly soon. With just the two of us we are still going through the last one. Will be making some brisket point smoked chili next week and that will be the end of it.
 
Sadly, I'm not cooking a brisket today. I've got some nice ribeyes to grill today or tomorrow. I am due to cook another brisket soon.
 
That's a good lookin first effort. I see you have the Stubbs and Head Country ready , just in case ?

I'm not sure I'd want to go back and look at a lot of my cooks.
