Maribel got this "London Broil" on sale....

I did a a quick Marinade in Dales seasoning. About 30 min while I got the grill ready

Let it rest for 8 minutes or so before slicing. According to me it was grilled to a med rare:confused:

This was my best cheap cook I have done...

I'd say "Well Done Tony!", but clearly its not. Nice job on the med rare! I'm about the only one in my family that would eat it that way.

Thanks.
My kids ate it no problem. Maribel recently learned how to eat beef med rare. Before it had to be well done.

Nice job on yours!
IMO... Cheap meat, cooked with a little love, and done the right way taste better than most expensive cuts.

I do A LOT of london broils on my OTG and OTS at my Elk's club.
Its:
a) cheap
b) simple
c) feeds a crowd
d) people like it cuz its "steak"
e) takes on a lot of flavor from a heavy seasoning without losing "the beefyness"
f) Tastes good hot off the grill, or cold after sitting around (if there's any left).
g) simple to serve on a platter with some sliced rounds Italian bread and a little horsey sauce on the side
h) leftovers are great for a cheesesteak, stir fries, or in an omelet for a little steak and eggs action.

PS- I find that slicing them real thin makes the meat so much nicer. My preferred tool for the job: http://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-12-Inch-Granton-Slicing-Fibrox/dp/B0000CFDB9/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377662507&sr=8-1&keywords=victorinox+slicing+knife

I never like to push stuff, but this is a great knife for it. If I didn't cook and slice so many LB's I wouldn't even bring it up.
I linked it through the TVWBB's Amazon thing.

Tony looks perfectly done...I know my wife wouldn't eat it(well she would but she'd complain)!

I love London broil...makes great steak salad...I ate a lot of them when were in Cali!

Nice!!

Nice looking steak, Tony. We did a london broil last week. Marinated it with one of Weber's seasoning packets (whiskey something) and put some Southwestern rub on it. It was really good. Couple of nights later we thinly sliced the leftovers and used it in some fajitas. I doubt my wife got ours for $4, though. Nice find by Maribel.
