I like the Ukraine colour scheme.
Porcelain Enamel is a wonderful product.
I found a very friendly U.K. enamelling company who did a couple of free trial drums for me.
The flag transfer is baked on during a second lower temp run. The customisation possibilities are endless with the transfers.
Couple of minor flaws in the tests which they said they could fix in future runs.
Unfortunately the company went out of business.
I sold the white one and the mat black one is now my UDS.

but also on Coleman lanterns and old collector
stoves. He has a cult following in those circles
as well. I am fortunate enough to work about
5 miles from his shop. It's great to be able to drop
in and see some of the current projects, but not
so great on my wallet. LOLOL!!

restoration for these types of projects.

Yeah, I talked to a porcelain company in Indianapolis. When I told them grills, they said, "No way."
IPE is the outfit I used for The Glen Blue Bullet Project. I bought the 14.5" WSM, stripped it of parts, paid $103 for FedEx shipping to IPE, and paid IPE $400 for the recoating including shipping back to me. Not a cheap little project.

Man, I wish I had the dough to go to IPE and do this. That is AWESOME! I saw someone do a FT 26 in Yellow a while back I think on a FB group somewhere and that looked amazing as well.

Rivet Removal on a WSM Pre-2009
What is the best way to remove the Rivits holding the Four(4) Vent Dampers on my WSM "Classic" that I bought new in the year 2008 as I want to replace them with new Vent Dampers??

Hi, simple answer is yes but im pretty sure its not that straight forward as others would be doing. Id suggest reaching out to Jeff at IPE who can detail the process and he's a great guy too!!

We do have a real Weber Kettle fanatic. That big yellow kettle is really beautiful.

Surprised how expensive it is is it's around $400.
I guess most of the cost for these custom kettles is the labour cost for disassembly, assembly, packaging, post, etc.
I was quoted just £24 ($29) each to coat 45 Gallon drums. Maybe that's why the enamelling company I dealt with went out of business!
Their core business was enamel bakeware. The track was continually running at near capacity. Very cheap to produce. I came away with a pile of free baking trays.
Materials are very cheap. Running the furnace will be expensive, especially with todays energy prices but that's why they need the high volume goods to keep it fired up.
