2+" chops

Chops look incredible, and only topped by that whole plate together. Great work! Thanks for sharing.

If you asked for 2" thick, and he gave you 3"... you might want to consider using the metric system next time. :p
everything looks great!

Thanks ppl! (sorry for the late response)

Barb D: The shrooms are simple but always a crowd pleaser. You can use any shroom aslong as it has a hat that is fillable.
I almost think its better to use smaller ones instead of portabellas since its more of a snack size.

I start of with crisp the bacon in a pan. Add sliced leeks here is great aswell. When crispy i drain the fat and add cream. When you take out the stem from the shroom a rather small crater is formed, but often(depending on what shroom i use) i take a spoon and scrape the sides of the hat so i can add more filling. Add all these scrapings to the Cream/bacon/(leek) pot. Add salt/pepper to taste. Take it easy with the salt since the bacon and the cheese ontop will add its own level of saltiness. Simmer untill it starts to get thick. Fill the shrooms(dont overfill like i did in this post) and add some cheese ontop. Grill indirect(or oven) untill the cheese is starting to get some color and the shroom is soft.

If im doing them in the oven i usually put the hats in the bacon fat on both sides for a few min just to get some color. and give em a headstart. Since the oven melts/goldens the cheese so fast.

Thats about it. Super easy but goes well with any meat.

Thanks again ppl!
