Thanks for the inspiration Mr. Correll and Mr. Lampe!

Rubbed with Chile powder, K salt, gran garlic, black pepper, dry mustard, Brown and regular sugar. Lump Minion style and kept at 250 for 2 hrs. Put the carrots on for 1 hr with EVOO, sea salt, cracked pepper and brown sugar then seared at the end. Wife made some broc n cheeze and homeade mac n cheeze.

Made some more #5 sauce and basted the last 30 min.

Man...these pork steaks are really catching on.

I never see them in the store up here.

Looking good with the grilled carrots too.

That looks great! I am a huge pork steak fan. Been grilling them for years. Far superior to chops in my opinion. Definitely going to try this. Water in the pan or dry?
