Very nice Chris. Either egg, fried or scrambled sounds good but the soft yolk with that splash of Chalula puts it over the top, in my book anyway!

Tasty looking Loco! You'll get a weird look if order it with scrambled eggs on the islands! Some places wont even serve it to you!

I have to agree that the runny yolk makes the dish!

Yup, the eggs need to be over easy or sunny side up so the yolk can blend with the gravy to make that special sauce but to each their own.

Truth be told...Version #1 belongs to Mrs. TVWB, Version #2 is mine. I've ordered it "my way" on Maui numerous times and have never been turned away, but I always figure they're just graciously accommodating the haole tourist.
