So, last week, our roving annual family vacation we refer to as beercation happened here in Charlotte! Family started showing up Friday the 6th and we put the last 2 on a plane last night! Dad and his wife stayed across the street at a neighbor and everyone else was either in our 1 other bedroom, on the couch or on air mattresses! Cozy, but we made it work!
Saturday the 7th was my mom's 84th birthday! Since there were only 5 extra people here, I cooked her some ribs! Seasoned with a maple chipotle rub that my niece send me from Maine, they went on the WSM about 2. The weren't cooking to my liking, so about 4:30, I foiled them for about 45 minutes. Out of the foil, and they were just about ready for sauce!

As usual, no plated pics!
The next day, my other sister got here, so we had a spatched chicken, along with the leftover ribs!
The chicken was seasoned with SPOG, then glazed with a honey mustard glaze Pammi found that's way more mustard than honey!

A rare plated pic!
Pammi made some quinoa with sautéed mushrooms and spinach and a green salad.
SOOOO good!
