Priced a bit higher than I care to pay for any book, think I'll wait for it to come out in paperback or find a used copy, but it should be good

Hmm... I might have to check it out at some point. Sometime those books aren't that useful. Sometimes they are.

I don't want a recipe book, although its OK to throw a few in. I'm more interested in how and why.

He's a classically trained chef who switched to competition barbecue. Restaurateur, winner of prestigious American Royal and Jack Daniels championship contests, co-host and judge of Destination America’s BBQ Pitmasters television series, and barbecue class instructor. He's the real, real deal.
