    Finally Found the Redhead

    Problem with those old ones aren't the handles but the welds. I can see it on this one too. Even if you put new handles on it eventually the welds are going to fail. Not sure why they Weber lid bracket welding sucked so bad back then because welding isn't that hard to do.

    No way I'd spend $179 for outdoor speakers that weren't water proof. My luck I'd get all drunk and leave it outside and it would rain and ruin it. I paid about $200 for my outdoor speakers that are connected to my receiver inside.

    I'd drop an extra $30-40 and get a new one. I know you can install a thermo and heat pan after the fact but it will cost you that extra money to get them ordered/shipped when you could have just bought new and it be part of the deal.. I love my Performer but if I want to smoke anything it's on...
