Totally agree. Our Jewel ( Albertsons ) has chuckies for $ 4.99 lb ( limit 10 lbs ) this week. They look good but not as good as Sam's.

The shelf was a little short on the width. It was 22 1/2" where I could of used 26" and made it even with the front and back. It actually worked out better centering it because I can still access the foot brakes on all 4 wheels when they are turned sideways.

Interested to see some of your reviews. I wasnt a fan of B&B char logs for L&S esp in my kamado. Had an off smell and taste to the meat. Now JD briqs work great in my kamado as does the lump.

Sanding sealer also helps softwood (like pine) absorb stain more evenly. When I trimmed my house I talked to the painter at work and that's what he recommended.

I've been meaning to had some angle iron to support the legs. Wasn't sure on adding a shelf or if I would ever use it but during my morning walk my neighbor thru out some parts for a garage shelving unit. The shelf looked SS but had some corrosion from chemicals I guess. I carried that back home...

Yea, and you didn't really post it as a recipe, so 🤷‍♂️ I tried these once on the WSM. The pellet grill is a big convection oven so I'm gonna try it again.

The wood is redwood. The black around the nails is the tannins reacting with the steel nails. You/they should of used SS fasteners so you don't get that bleeding effect.
