Looking for recommendations on grill brushes.

If my grates are REALLY grimy I'll dip my brush into water and hit the grates a couple times. Blasts them right clean. Or another way is I take either paper towels or an old cloth towel, get it really hot, and wipe the grimy grates down. Follow up either method with a quick wipe down on a rag with a touch of oil. Works great

(also they're "steel" not "steal" bristles :D

I think there is some trick with wadding up a hand full of aluminum foil and scraping the grates with that. But, I have never tried it and don't know if it works well or not.

I just bought this recently and will never use anything else now.

It works great and I never have to worry about damn bristles again. After it gets gunked up, I just run hot water from the tap over it and it comes completely clean. Silicone inner part and chainmail on the outside. I'm floored how well it works and I can even turn it sideways and basically "floss" between the grill grates. Easily one of the best grill related purchases I've made in a very long time.

I burn the crud off. Sometimes I will push a hunk of ice around while the grill is hot to wash off the cooking grids. After doing those 2 things I can get by with a wipe and maybe flip the cooking surface to dump off what’s left

I get brushes with the free grills. Most are gimmicky. I been avoiding the straight bristles on the cooking grids as I can clearly see fallout.

Again I’ve used Grill Badger for several years now and I’d never use metal or synthetic brushes again. Brushing outside of your roaring flames before and after the Grill Badger will not burn up and disintegrate with two uses and the bristles are harmless if one should break off. It’ll just burn up. Small ones I have and I have one the size of a push broom for my trailer pit.

Here's another option that's cheaper and comes with a good cast iron scraper.
