Looking for recommendations on grill brushes.


 
If my grates are REALLY grimy I'll dip my brush into water and hit the grates a couple times. Blasts them right clean. Or another way is I take either paper towels or an old cloth towel, get it really hot, and wipe the grimy grates down. Follow up either method with a quick wipe down on a rag with a touch of oil. Works great

(also they're "steel" not "steal" bristles :D
 
I think there is some trick with wadding up a hand full of aluminum foil and scraping the grates with that. But, I have never tried it and don't know if it works well or not.

Weber used to recommend this. While it works it does leave flecks of aluminum all over the grates and you sill need a brush to remove them
