In a word YUUUUKKKKKOOOOOO. Snowing like mad, and feels like it is also raining and icing over. I've already used my new Toro 60V snow blower more today than I did all last year! Thankfully I also have grandson here doing the "trim" work (patio and deck) since I may have to cook some steaks outside tonight
And I will also say if you're at all thinking about getting one of those battery electric snow blowers (I have the Toro since I also have the walk behind mower that takes same 60v pack), don't hesitate. It's so much nicer to work with, lighter weight, less tiring, quieter, no vibration or stench. Rotate batteries. While one charging using the other. REALLY pleased with it and it's honestly as powerful as the Honda 621 I had and WAY better than the 8HP Toro hybrid machine I had bought to replace the Honda. (honestly turned out I was so sorry I sold that Honda and spent all those $$$ on that Toro Model 824 OE what a total POC

Love my Ryobi twin 40V.
Used it twice today, 3" both times. Did mine and my neighbors on one charge.
I do like the quiet part as you can hear cars or the plow coming when near the street.
Still have my gasser two stage for the big one!

Best of luck to you Larry. Nice that the grandson is there to help mitigate the mess.

I hate snow and all it brings.

Weather folks are saying that come this Tuesday we might get a wintery mix. I hope not, I have a large delivery coming to the house.

I'll tell ya it's powering right through very heavy wet icy snow that is as deep as the auger chute and still tossing it out 20' into the wind! My brother is a "hater". Hates electric cars, electric anything. Basically hates technology unless it's for a home theater. Honestly all I've been doing is rotating the batteries. I have 2 (a 10AH and a 7.5 AH) and if I am really pushing the machine hard with the 7.5 after a while I will check and it will be at 1 indicator charge. The 10 AH one I can push the daylights out of and it's ending at still 1/2 charge (2 lights)

Well you may end up with remnants of what came through here

The "D-word" (drought) is already on everyone's mind here. Last winter was my first mountain winter, and it was mild. We're getting into the mid 20's at night, but my 2PM we're in the mid 50's. I'll try to send this weather you way
