    I like mine, I use lump royal oak it adjust quickly to vent adjustments and with the added basket capacity it will run a full load of the royal oak lump for an easy 12 hour cook if needed.

    Just finished my first cook hanging ribs….

    Thank you, Yes, I put the hooks in the fatter meatier end of the ribs. Just wondering and checking to see if my cook time was off causing the last rib to burn. But after some more research I found that when you don't wrap that this is what normally happens. Thanks

    Hanging Ribs in the WSM

    Im going to attempt to hang some baby backs in my WSM here in the next day or so. Im trying to get an idea of cook time when hanging vs the normal indirect 3-2-1 method. Im not planning on wrapping these ribs though. so any input on how long it ahould take for baby backs and spares? thanks!

    Your experience is similar! But since I never really take the SNS out Im just sticking with the royal oak lump from wally world. I can get 450 max with it in the SNS and thats good enough. Just have to go through more lump with it but the price offset from using the $$ stuff justifies it...
