    BBQ temps from lid vs. Maverick

    I love the responses here! Pre Maverick, I was so stressed about keeping temps as precise as possible. Then I got my ET-73, started thru-vent temps and my stress level dropped considerably. Keep the temp steady, and the meat will tell you when its done. Isnt that the BBQ paradigm?

    What to do with these wood chips?

    A friend got me an early christmas present of "cherry wood chips n chunks". The wood chips are extremely small, almost to the point of sawdust. Being a wood chunk user, I am at a loss as to how to use this wood? Tinfoil? Any tips appreciated.
