Does anyone, anywhere make solid, thick 304SS grates for the go anywhere?

Yea I considered that - I even spent some time trying to track down a thick rod stainless bun warmer grated that is close to the correct size (16"x10"). The problem is, there are no grates that I could find that have more than a single long rod. Would prefer two supporting rods if at all possible

Does anyone, anywhere make solid, thick 304SS grates for the go anywhere?

I'm willing to pay shipping from overseas if that's what it takes. I've fallen back in love with my charcoal WGA - we are having an addition built that has put my other grills out of commission. I've been super impressed with the WGA but the factory grate leaves a lot to be desired. I know Killa...

Found-Where to find CGA replacement grates?

L That is only a thing for the gas version. This thread is for charcoal go anywhere, which has the exact same grate it's always had

Found-Where to find CGA replacement grates?

I'm still peeved at the grillgrate I bought for my CGA. It lifts the lid off the top enough to see the grates, tons of extra airflow. It won't snuff out charcoal and makes it impossible to run low temps. Pretty well known problem. I contact grillgrates and they suggested using an angle grinder...

Found-Where to find CGA replacement grates?

I’m also interested in this. Specifically, would love a stainless grate with the ability of 1/4 of it to flip open for adding charcoal

Glen Blue 26" - What is going on with values?

There are people selling these for $900, how are folks coming up with that value? I have one, nearly unused, with a spare brand new lid and bowl (original had underspray where you can see black on the bottom but it's not super noticeable). $900 seems pretty outrageous for a $430 grill?

Stainless Steel Cooking grates for the Q grills

I'm a little skeptical.... The spot welds aren't going to transfer a lot of heat, and a huge part of the appeal of the Q is that the grates themselves get hot as they are an integral part of the "deflector" vs separate. Not to mention, cleaning those would have to be a nightmare

    New to me Q120 (corrected)

Before you spend money, double check the ceramic bushings that hold the bottom aluminum shell to the plastic frame. If they're broken, they are hard to find. Check my post here https://tvwbb.com/threads/time-to-put-this-q200-to-pasture-or-save-it.82836/ Edit: Also might be different in your...

Weber Q - fuel shutting off with small tanks, differences in regulators?

Thanks guys. I actually just found my old post here of a Q200 I tossed, but saved the parts/burner/etc https://tvwbb.com/threads/time-to-put-this-q200-to-pasture-or-save-it.82836/

Weber Q - fuel shutting off with small tanks, differences in regulators?

Thanks all. This does have the older style tank holder that I had to bend out to fit the green bottles. It's old but in great shape, but $65 shipped eesh. For what I use it for I don't want to convert to 20lb tank setup. I'll just cough up the money for a regulator !

Weber Q - fuel shutting off with small tanks, differences in regulators?

I have a Weber q220, older that has hardly been used. Sat in my basement for a few years. Took it to the beachhouse to replace the q100 after 10 years of salty air. The q220 randomly won’t stay lit. I’ve tried new propane bottles no luck. It will sometimes run fine for 20-30 minutes. It happens...

Can we talk about the Char Broil Big Easy?

Okay while the cooking method is amazing, clean up is a PAIN. The "basket" sticks like crazy even seasoned/oiled. Dishwasher helps but dang

Can we talk about the Char Broil Big Easy?

Man I am TOTALLY sold on this. The brine turned out excellent. I use rodelles turkey brine, and cut the brine/salt to about 75% of what's on the bottle. The skin was incredible. No smoke obviously, but I think for most folks looking for thanksgiving turkey that is actually a benefit.

Can we talk about the Char Broil Big Easy?

Using this as my notes page. First cook, incredible, however really need to make sure the turkey has good airflow thru the interior. No 'nose' at the bottom blocking etc. These things work very much like an air fryer, more important than usual to have a good air transfer into the center of the...

    Favorite Smoke Wood for Turkey

For thanksgiving day proper I usually use no smoking chunks at all, or maybe a chunk or two of peach. Lots of people who rarely eat bbq are VERY sensitive to smoke and a turkey soaks it up quick

Can we talk about the Char Broil Big Easy?

Actually. Thinking more about this, I'm going to skip on the foil. My concern is the galvanic corrosion potential between it and the SS pan
