No on the Bondo. High temp 2000* primer under engine paint. It will eventually discolor on the bowl, but its just to keep the rust in check.

Nothing I tried worked to restore any luster to this 26'r, in fact I was afraid of doing any more harm to the finish that has grease stains and road rash. Since I sold this one, I've seen similar pics of the same type of "rash" on the older 26'rs. Just roll with it.
