    The Humor Thread

As I’ve enjoyed both snails and sweetbreads (lambs thymus) I might be inclined to be “adventurous” in some circles. Now I’m not saying I necessarily want to be the Guinea pig but, cultures all over the world eat things others find “odd”!

    Weber Style Lighter & Products

So John, why were these never available in the United States? I think one would be very nice to have for us “kettleheads”!

Cajun Bandit No Drill Wheel Kit - Question

A Quick Look shows ot going below the existing leg height so, I would imagine it will raise it a couple of inches but, call them and ask the source.

    Roast chicken

I could not agree more! A beautifully roasted chicken is one of the true delights of cooking! I still use a recipe I first used when I was maybe 14 years old, from the Graham Kerr cookbook for “Roast Ginger Chicken” Stud an onion with 6 cloves, stuff in cavity. Dust the bird with powdered...

    Happy 4th of July

Sorry, no pix but, the harissa marinated pork loin was lovely! Fascinating color when it was done. Where the marinade was a bit heavier burned slightly more than I’d expected. Served with pasta primavera. Nice dinner to say the least. Sent leftovers with stepson for lunches at work! Darin...

Does price matter when buying an instant read digital thermometer?

Thermoworks make really good thermometers! I snag thermo pops when they have them on sale and give them as gifts, their timers? The “Big, Loud” one works for (for me) three or four uses. The timestick seems to be far more robust even of it’s “Small and not so Loud” I can stick it in my pocket so...

    3 Meat Combo

I’m tired of the apologetic potato salad that my wife seems to absolutely adore but, I find rather like wallpaper paste. I think your recipe is going to be tested soon! Thanks Kemper!! I might up the egg count by a few, I love them in P.S.!

    Happy 4th of July

SWMBO got comfortable at the BC air show and we had a very nice afternoon! I managed to not get overcooked by the cloud cover that disappeared by the time the USAF Thunderbirds hit the sky with just enough clouds for guys with cameras to doubtless get nice shots. No problems with her back...
