    Painting a WSM 18.5?

    That is just awesome!

    I swear it's a true story.

I have been modifying my new to me 18.5” WSM and had it about where I wanted it except it needed to be mobile and I had not yet decided on how this would be done. I thought about it for a week or so and couldn't decide if it would be a platform with 3 wheels, one under each leg, or one with 4...

    Rib Rack Recommendations Needed

I found this at Lowes yesterday for $15 and change. Made by Master Forge and it's stainless. Fits the 18.5.

    Replacement cover for 18.5" WSM?

I couldn't find a cover for my 18.5" either so while I was looking for one I used a Bradley Original Smoker cover that I had. It's the heaviest duty cover I've seen, it's water proof, it's not too tight fitting (I have side handles), and it covers all but 3-4 inches of the legs. It has worked...

    Alternate 18 1/2" Water Pan

I have the 2 gal. water pan for my newer 18.5" and was wondering if the old (2000-2008) 1 gal. water pan would fit. I'm looking for a shallower pan that will allow easier charcoal adjustments. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks. Dean

Is the water pan even necessary at all?

I'm thinking maybe Bradley Digital Smoker.

Thanks, everyone, for the warm welcome. And thank you, Gary, for the cooking on the patio link; I had not seen this before. I like the water heater drip pan idea. Dean

    Need WSM Cover

Thanks, All, for the suggestions. I had the very heavy duty cover for my Bradley available so I tried it and it fits fine so that is what it will be doing for the near future. It's a bit large but better that than real tight. When the correct one is available I will get it. Dean

    Need WSM Cover

I don't know why but the covers for the 18.5" and 22.5" are not available on Amazon. Does anybody know where I can get a cover for an 18.5"? I just got the cooker today. Thanks. Dean

New member cooking in Central Maine

I’ve been smoking for a couple of years with a Bradley Original Smoker but decided I needed a change since the electric Bradley has some limitations. After lots of consideration and online reading I decided the WSM would be the ticket so I looked on Craigslist and I’ll be darned if there wasn’t...
