    Grease management

Unless you put a drip pan on the lower rack and only use the upper rack for really fatty proteins follow what Andy suggested. OBTW, Welcome to the forum:wsm:

    Heckuva Hail Storm

No hail, but we got a dust storm. First time I got an alert on my phone for that.

Just picked up from a $10 kettle

I used to have one those corn and tater rings and the half moon grate. Steal for a sawbuck. Can some large fender washers w/nuts and bolts fix that leg socket?

    First cook on WSM 18!

That's called TBS or thin blue smoke and it's what you want. I'm a non waiter, load up the meat and minion start. I split my chunks into thirds or fourths and takes about an hour for temps to stabilize and TBS.

    Texas Roadhouse seasoned rice

Love Texas Roadhouse Seasoned Rice? This copycat recipe is buttery, flavorful, and jam-packed with bold spices. Better yet, it’s ready in just 30 minutes! Left with a handle in my hand

Spot welds just popped? Usually you see some rust around the handle bracket because the porcelain enamel didn't quite cover. You should hit that with some oil occasionally.

    Automate your WSM?

This^^^. If I lose power and have no backup, or my fan or controller go out, my EX6 and Auto Kamado are useless running au naturel.

Cleaning the outside of Kettle and WSM

Just make sure its damp on one side and dry where your hand is. Totally wet cloth transfers heat almost immediately, good way to burn your hand. I usually wear a insulated glove when doing that JIC.

    5 briskets in the WSM

Not that I have a problem with BBQ smells but that's why I have a whole house fan esp useful for frying. Mom always said if you want the house to smell good, fry up some onions and peppers.

    Chuck Roast Finishing Temperature

I go by feel, not temp. If your foiling the temp rises rather quickly but you need a certain amount of time at a certain temp to equal tender.
