    Looking to do my first smoke on the WSM this weekend and figured I would do some pulled pork. I picked up a nice sized butt but I also noticed a picnic roast. Has anybody used the picnic roast to do their pulled pork? Is there much of a difference?

    Wood for smoking turkey?

    Well I cooked up the turkey this weekend and came out great. Brined the turkey, for the first time ever, and cooked it up for about 4 1/2 hours and came out great. By far the juiceiest turkey ever. Use a combination of apple and hickory chunks.
