Glad I stumbled on this thread, I was thinking of getting the signals system with billows. From what I am reading it seems like the air traveling through just one vent hole may not be enough? Why not drill one of the vent holes out bigger with a step drill? Or put in a dedicated port. I...

I just bought my first WSM, a CL find 22”. I’m still working on it doing all the mods, it’s a bit of a beast but I think I will be glad to have the extra real estate for doing full packers and multiple racks of ribs.

What is the purpose of the aluminum disk under the WSM? Is it just a heat shield? How many just remove it?
