    Prepping Boneless Pork Butt

I prefer bone-in also.. sometimes when I do a cook for charity, friends or whatever I ask them to bring the meat to me and often time they will bring Costco boneless. I like to rub them then tie tight so they don't flap around and avoid the surface area like Paul said.

Both of the Wal-Marts by me carry packers I've had good luck with them. I can't remember who packs them but I do recall they are choice and not the shot-up stuff that Wal-Mart usually carries. I wouldn't touch most of their stuff except the branded Johnsonville, Perdue, etc but give their...

    Weber performer colors?

Your local Ace should be able to order just about anything out of the catalog and have it in the store right quick for your pickup. That's where I got my red, they even had it in stock. Or go get this performer somewhere in the western burbs.

Older SS Performer propane tank question

I picked up and older SS performer for $20 this weekend.. some cleanup yielded a nice find but I seem to remember reading that this tank cannot (or will not?) be filled? Also does anyone know when Weber discontinued this tank and went to the triangle knob that I know can be filled?

    NFL Conference Championship Sunday

I'm going to do boneless chix breasts a'la Al's kettle style fried and use them for a couple of buffalo chicken cutlet subs- Frank's mixed with some blue cheese dressing for the sauce, diced celery and shredded lettuce on top. I figure I'll put the subs out at half time when the Bears are cruising.
