    1st Cedar Plaked Salmon

    Killer looking meal Mike! A tip if you have the tools to do it - Just buy au-natural cedar fence boards from Homer Depot and cut them up to desired size. Whole lot cheaper than buying "cedar grilling planks". I also had salmon for diz tonight ;)

    Bacon question

    I do it after smoking. When still warm use a sharp knife to start removing it then i just use my hand and pull it off in one clean piece. I then save it a foodsaver it in various sizes and use in soups and stews. Just finished slicing up 8lbs a couple days ago.

    Here's my go-to recipe passed down from a friends grandfather..... Beat 2 eggs Add 1/3 cup sugar 1 tablespoon Rogers Golden syrup Mix well Add 1 cup of flour 3 tsp baking powder ¼ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp salt Add 1 cup of milk – slowly and mix in Add 4 tablespoons of oil
