Pizza - how the $#!@@&*% do I get it from the peel to the stone?

I'm with Doug as much as I've tried corn meal, flour, etc, the parchment does the trick. You can pull the paper out just before pulling the pie from the stone.

    Craycort owners

Nothing wrong with taking the whole thing off maybe set it on some brick or stone as a whole piece so it doesn't greeze up wherever you want to set it. Either way you will love the grates.

    Craycort owners

I tried a few different setups before settling in on using the char-baskets instead of the chimney. I place the grate at an "x" toward the front of the kettle and remove the right quarter, fill the bins, move them over the ignitor, move them from there after they are lit depending on how I want...

NIB red SS Performer picked up today

Ok so got a chance to open it this afternoon. "N" date code, I liked the charcoal that was inside the bin. My Golden loved the vintage cardboard. We didn't get a chance to fire it or pull the plastic off the stainless but Kroger has Flatirons on sale, going to...

NIB red SS Performer picked up today

I paid $180 for it. If I see a Performer for less than $100 I'll chase it and pay it forward to friends who tell me they are looking for one so it was out of the usual "bargain" range but I may have to put this one on the deck. <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div...

NIB red SS Performer picked up today

Today the product won out over the price on Craiglist..picked this up from a super nice gentleman, he even offered to meet me to cut a bunch of time from my trip. I usually only chase these if the price is a no-brainer but I had to have it.

help troubleshooting propane assist on performer

Disconnect the hose from the end of the burner tube- use pliers or needle nose to undo the clip that holds it. See if the nozzle on the end of the hose is dirty or clogged maybe try to clean it out anyway if it doesn't look clogged. While you have the hose off clean out the inside of the...

Cleaning the table on the Performer

I picked up a tip a while back here about the thermoset tables/shelves.. mineral oil. The oil has brought the shelf and swing ups back to life on an older Summit B I picked up. They were almost brittle from the cleaning and weather before I applied it. The oil does seem to penetrate and make...
