Well this high heat brisket method is amazing!! First ever packer brisket. It was so simple and turned out tender and juicy. And this was done on my large Big Green Egg. I am now a believer of this method. Talk about time saving!

Sorry if this is a dead thread but is this "THE" High Heat brisket thread that I need to read through to try the method? If not, please direct me to that thread so I can read the actual method! I haven't gathered much info other than just cook the brisket at 300-350* and probe for doneness...

I feel like I'd just need the important stuff - target temps, current temps, ability to update and refresh... and MAYBE a mini graph.

Hi Amir, For some reason, this version 6.7 (Run as Admin) has the target greyed out so I cannot select it. Any ideas? Workaround for now is to use the Stoker's built-in web ui.

Installing it now, prompted me for .NET Framework 4.0 so installed that as well. Everything seems fine. That log file error is no longer there. One thing, I'm not sure if this is just my machine (Win7 64) but I have the image of the Windows Media play/pause/ff/rwd buttons smack in the middle...

When I get home tonight, I will try to uninstall and then reinstall and see if it still happens. I'll report back. Thanks!

Hello I just installed the latest version and it still errors out when I don't run the program as admin. This is a windows 7 64 bit machine. It says something about not having permissions to the stokerlog text file. I'll get the exact verbiage after work. Thanks.
