Good question. Especially since I'm not seeing any plastic melted residue anywhere.I wonder how someone could melt that light

Looking again this morning it looks like just the bottom rack is on backwards this time so no big deal.Larry, I have picked up several Q's with melted/warped lights. I have never grabbed one with that style of light however. Probably leaving the grill on full over night or a nice grease fire pushed the temps above what they are designed for.
Josh, What on that grill seems to be installed backwards? That is a great $20 find and if I could make a $200 profit on them, I would do more as well. Maybe one like that for $20 and not having to replace grates or burners would make it possible, but I have found it hard to sell them for much over $200 fully rehabbed.
Check this one out! Just out of driving range for me. Q2800N+ new in the box for a $99I recently picked up a Q3200 that was in decent shape, but the handle light was coming apart. I attributed that to the effects of heat. Maybe something else, but they are often unusable in used grills.
The black one looks like an imperial probe droidJust finished my last Q series grill. The black midsize.
Now I have all three sizes for my sister-in-law to choose from. I think they turned out pretty good. Hopefully one of them will work for her otherwise I will be happy to figure something else out for her.

I probably got lucky with my handle light on the 320, which originated in Washington. Light on my new 1200 was new in box for cheap-it comes on and off when lid opened and closed too. Very handy now that its getting darker out earlier.I recently picked up a Q3200 that was in decent shape, but the handle light was coming apart. I attributed that to the effects of heat. I can understand how different grills will sell better in different areas. That is great Josh. I wish I could make a decent profit on the Q grills. The resale market just isn't there for me.
At least to me Arizona seems more like a buyer's advantage market then sellers market. At least from what I've seen so far.I’ve had no interest in my big Q not moving around here
I only sell so far at my Washington house though. Might be a different story if I tried to sell in Arizona.Josh, that might be on picking up grills for rehabbing, but it seems you do pretty darn as a seller as well on the grills you have rehabbed.
