Yakitori - Well, not Really

Hi All,

Yakitori is chicken skewers, but ever since I made it last I felt the marinade and glaze had more potential. So, tonight I tried a different twist - #12 Shrimp :).

Everything was done the same except that the shrimp got really dark in the marinade, so I added some paprika to give them back their reddish color during the cook. I also added some EVOO, because the shrimp have no fat like the chicken thighs. Oh, and no pineapple, just onions and orange peppers. Plated with Jasmine rice, Sriracha, scallions and extra glaze on the rice.

Absolutely delicious! It worked!!
