WSM Smoke Day 2009?

I recently looked through the "Smoke Day" forum, only to realize it was held on my B-day last year. Sadly, I didn't get my WSM until a few weeks later, and was not able to participate. However, I'll be planning to smoke something this year. Has a day been set yet? I'm assuming it'll be the 23rd or 24th. It should be a national holiday.

WSM Smoke Day will be on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, which is May 23 this year.

That's the weekend of the Roc City Rib fest. I guess that means I'll be smoking.

Last year I was out of town visiting mom and cooking over a standard "mom" gas grill. This year I'm staying home for sure. Maybe I'll see if Ed C. wants to get together for a Smoke Day blow out!

This summer will mark one full year I've owned my WSM. Today marks my fourth or fifth smoke this year and hell yes, I will be participating!

I still have last years shirt, i think it will work although i've shrunk it a bit and my nips show, but thats ok!! I'll be smoking as well and drinking out of my smoke day cup, last years model too.
