Well here are some simple brats with cheese getting a bath of beer before their date with the weber.

Some of the last corn of the season onto the kettle waiting on the brats to show up.

The brats made way for the CI containing the peppers and onions on the burner

The brats and the corn ready to come off. No plated picks but served the corn with butter and the brats and onions with simple yellow mustard.

Matt, don't make me come there & bat your ears.... there is no such thing as "the last corn of the season"...
go get more, lots more and roast it up... then cut all the corn off the cobs, vacuum seal enough in each bag for one family dinner (about ¾ cup per person) and freeze.
Come December, January and those over damcold months, take a bag outta the freezz and drop it in a hot pail of water until the corn is warm enough.
Cut open the bag and serve. Smell the air... just like the day you grilled it!
Your brats look GREAT!
When all that dang snow is on the ground and the single digit temps arrive, come back to this post and warm up! :D

LOL thanks Jim. I will see if I can find some more corn about. We have or had several local farmers that bring wagon loads of it in and sell it around my area but I got that from the last one I could find. They had only a small pile of corn sitting between the gords and pumpkins and said that was the last of it for the year. And I don't favor the store bought stuff trucked in from Florida and Mexico. Just doesn't have the same flavor.

Great lookinl Brats, Matt. Like it or not, we can't stop the seasons from changing. I'm with you 100% on out of season corn, not even close by a mile!
