Wings on Sale

I bought some Foster Farms wings yesterday for $1.48/lb at Ralphs market, cheapest I've seen. At that price I bought about 25 lbs worth so I'll have some on hand for a few cooks.

Last night I cooked about 4 lbs worth in the mini-wsm, 2 racks, and no diffuser. Towards the end of the cook I took the wings out, dunked them all in a bowl of SBR wing sauce, and put the wings back in the mini to finish.

Thanks! Both Ralphs and Food-4-Less have them on sale this week. If I can make more room in the freezer I might get more.

Thats a good price for wings. The demand for wings has driven the price to some stupid levels lately.
Before they became popular there was a chicken place nearby that sold them for $1.87 a dozen done.
