Wingettes On The 26 3/4" OTG

I finally did the first cook on my new 26 3/4" OTG.
2 dozen naked chicken wingettes.
I banked some KBB on one side, with a couple of chunks of cherry wood on top, and lit it on one end. I cooked the meat indirect for a bit, slowly moving it closer to the charcoal. By the time the meat was ready to be finished, the charcoal had burned all the way to the other side. I knocked it down and went direct.
I then slathered them with Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Barbeque sauce.
They were mighty tasty!

On the kettle.

It's tough to beat chicken parts indirect on the Weber! Those look WONDERFUL!

If it ever stops raining, I'll run some chicken parts on my OTG...

Dem wings look mighty tasty, Bob - coincidentally, I have 24 wing sections in my freezer waiting their turn on the grill. I just may try your technique on my 26 and 3/4 as well.

Rooster
