Widows 10 being forced on to my computer

Such is life.

Can only evade the plague for so long before it catch's up to you (or you get tired of running ;) ). There are a lot of things you need to know how to turn off Rich. Some are really buried deep but it can be done (like phoning home to the mother ship).

Well the good news (not fake news) here I am using my new PC and it only took me a few minuets to get to here. But I can see that everything is different but the same if you get what I mean. If anyone has any hints or tips I'm all ears.

I ended up buying a new pc with an I5, 12GB of memory and a 1TB HD for a 150 bucks more but of course pre loaded with Win 10.
Such is life.

Sounds like a ripper! My dumb A put an i7 (i5 + hyperthreading, so instead of 4 cores it has an additional 4 virtual cores) in a server 5 years ago. Getting ready to work on my main desktop PC I built back then (another i7 that's never flexed) - just a new HD & OS.

i5 is just fine, even for a gaming machine. If you went SSD (even if not) you'll be good for another 5.
