Thanks for taking one for the team Chris.
I would love to have a good food chamber sealer.
I always thought that they cost a bit more than just under $400. more like the mid $600. price range is what I thought good ones went for.
Our kitchen is just too small for me to put everything I want into it.
I could keep it in the shop and lug it out when I needed it but that seems like too much work so I’m stuck with the foodsaver.
I use the snot out of mine, abusing it with things like 25 single sealed burritos and meal prep items similar to that.
Who knew they needed a time out when they are over worked

?
I’m currently on my second foodsaver since they came out years ago.
Well my third one actually.
I returned a replacement one because one just needed a short time out.
We have to squeeze it by hand to make it seal better and faster and I think that’s just the way it’s going to be.
If any of you know of a good one in the $400. range that works great and doesn’t weigh 100 lbs I’d really like to hear about it.
Good post.
Thanks Chris.
