Where are you buying your Spares?

We cook Farmland. Great quality if you can find them. We try to get an untrimmed slab(single) that weighs 5 lbs. They fit on a 22 and I figure the ends that get burned are protecting the remaining ribs.
Another fan here as well. My local store carries Farmland's minimally-processed pork and it's pretty much the only pork I buy.

I believe that it's not so much about where the pork's bought but who the producer is, especially for consistent results.

Up here in New England, we have a good sized chain of Market Basket stores. 75-85 % of the fresh meat sold is unenhanced and usually either select or choice grade. I did a bit of scouting while picking up a couple things today, and saw cryovac pork rib singles for 1.99 a lb on sale. Most looked to be 4-7 pound slabs. I get paid on Thursdays, and I'm thinking of heading back for a sixpack. It may all go into the freezer, but I like the idea of saving 30-60 cts a pound.
