Well, how about some camarones a la parilla?? I did about a 1 hour soak of the shrimp in the marinade, griddled up a fresh batch of tortillas, and we chowed down! It was excellent!

3 minutes per side, front two burners on high:

Plated up with some crema, modified "salsa of death", cheese and diced jalapeno......

A quick note about the tortillas...... I posted my version of "Sonoran" tortillas in the Side Dish forum, and @Bob Bailey commented that he makes a version with 50/50 AP Flour/Masa Harina. I thought that sounded pretty good, so I tried that tonight. I used the same recipe, including the tallow, but with the masa instead. I really liked these. They cook up a bit less soft than the pure flour version, but the hint of corn taste was really tasty, and I now have two versions of tortillas I like. Thanks, Bob!!

Hope y'all had a great weekend!

That is another amazing cook! As I said in another post I got to get on making those tortillas! That really does look like a simple, but elegant cook.
