What are you cooking for fathers day?


 
It was a simple cook, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and some Hebrew National dogs. All were very tasty.
 
My daughter is out of the country this year so I figured I'd do whatever I darn well pleased. So it was a close trimmed bottom round slowly braised up to ~140 internal, well rested, and then thin sliced. Scratch made mashed potatoes, green beans, and gravy. Mmmm good....

I did a 7 lb boston butt. Turned out nice. Had leftovers so I will be having it for lunch and dinner again tonight.
