The whole neighborhood was a buzz for about a week because the US Open was 1.75 miles from my house. Traffic was brutal so we filled the fridge and hunkered in to watch the Open.

I think the theme for this weekend was "Turkey Burger". I made them on Saturday and the Mrs liked them so much that I made them again on Sunday. Along with the star attraction, we also have corn, bell peppers that are oiled and rubbed with beef rub, asparagus marinated in balsamic vinaigrette and made some pork loin for the week.

Sebastian and I got an early start on Fathers day. The Hoptimum by Sierra Nevada is pretty delicious as far as imperial IPA's go

Turkey Burgers - Shallots, Worcestershire, bread crumbs, egg white, dry mustard





Oh and we tossed a few yams on the grill



marinated the loins in Wickers overnight. Rubbed one and sauced the other







And again with the turkey burgers!

Great looking burgers and loin!!! I am not a big fan of turkey burgers but have seen a few good ones posted on here. I might have to give them another try!
