We've been having a family member over for dinner every Thursday the last few weeks, it's becoming a really good tradition! Crazy work day today and running late so I cheated and uses some pre packaged potatoes and can corn, so I thought I am not going to post this even though I am doing a Tri Tip. But then I pulled the Tri Tip off the kettle and it looked like this and I had to post!!!

First cut. Pulled it a little higher temp then I would choose, but it for multiple of us so kept everyone happy.

Plated.. don't judge my sides. It was a great dinner and even better company.

Wow, that is a sight for sore eyes and empty stomachs!!! I'll bet the dishes were easy to wash.

Beautifully cooked TT Michael. TT has been north of $10LBS for quite sometime, but the bride said she picked one up for < $4LBS, looking forward to cooking it

Yeah here too last Friday I went to the store and this guy (just over two lbs) was marked down on clearance for 4 bucks a lbs. I got it home and in the freezer that day. I love a good Tri Tip, but even more when it is on clearance!!! Looking forward to your cook.
