Weber's New Book

As I’m sure most of you know, Weber, (Jamie Purviance), has a new book out, “Weber’s New Real Grilling". I downloaded the book and the first thing I bookmarked was “Chile and Tequila Marinated Chicken Breasts". This is really good and very simple to make. I passed on the suggested rice that went with it and decided to go with some Gus decked out in butter, peppers and lime zest. The potatoes were hit with olive oil and some Montreal Steak from Harvest Eating, (Thanks Chris). Nancy did some blueberry muffins and the sweetness complimented the spicy theme of the meal pretty well. The only thing I changed to Jamie’s recipe was to add some Penzys Galena to the chicken.

Buddy is ready to go!

Gus and taters on the grill. It looks like I have room for the chicken by I’m BBQ’d challenged and decided to play it safe.

Plated! This was very good, everyone liked it, so I’ll make it again. I don’t have the original “Real Grilling”, but I like the new version and happy I bought it. As Always….. thanks for looking.
