Weber Q300 Refurb

I recently picked up a Q300 for free that was in a well used state and did a refurb on it. Pretty straight forward with a wire brush clean upmof the cook box, stripped off all the paint and applied Rustoleum high temp black. Came out good and I actually learned to.respect these little grills. I wouldn't have the use for one personally but I thought it was a great grill. And easy refurb as most of the cart is plastic, but what a solid little grill to have for a small.patio or taking away in the campervan. I'd recommend one and a friend went and bought one after seeing the one I restored. Unfortunately for him.he saw it the day someone was coming to buy it amd due to his impatience he got a new one.

Nice restore of a great grill! You might find yourself wanting to keep it😎.
Thanks John, but it's too late! Shes already found a new home. I would have happily kept it but I have enough grills. I actually trimmed down the collection as it was getting out of hand. I have a Genesis Platinum C, A mastertouch Kettle, a Smokefire pellet grill and the smokey joe. 2 rotisserie and a Weber pizza oven. I moved on a Spirit and 2 mastertouch kettles just this weekend. It was like a Weber showroom out there

I've done maybe 5 or 6 of the q series restorations, they are a fun grill to do and cook well. I have a 300 on the deck, perfect for winter as it heats up well in the cold being so small or in the summer if I'm just doing a burger or dog for the kids

Looks great! Once I finish up the Silver B I am about ready to assemble, my next project is going to be a Q for my daughter - as part of her Christmas present were parts for it... and it's June, lol

I am in the same boat --- I just cleaned up a 2000 and a 2200 - first Qs I've gotten my hands on - and I am REALLY impressed with them! They really are a quality built little grill. I'm gonna keep the 2200 around for a while because I think I will grow attached to it (especially if I get a half griddle - but I'm fighting the urge for now) , but I keep thinking that a 1200 would be 'the right size' for my needs. I've only cooked one steak on it so far - hoping to cook a couple of burgers on it soon to see how it works.... I'm kinda digging the awesome grill marks it makes --- much better than my Spirit 2 burner.

If you can find a CharQ and a nice 2200 stand, you can switch back and forth since the CharQ is the same size. I have the CharQ and stand, but looking for the right Q2200 - at a bargain😎!
