Weber Parts Deals

These aren't super cheap, but you get two sets of stainless steel pins for the price of one set of OEM Weber ones. I ordered these for my personal use as I'm tired of rusty ones that I have to keep cleaning up to look nice. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FLXHHVYP?tag=tvwb-20
I have always thought someone should make this. I saved for now. I am very interested to hear what you guys think after receiving them.

I was actually quite surprised when I went to the Ace hardware for a set of SS bolts for the rotisserie mount.... 1/4-20x1/2 bolts were like a buck each --- I wasn't expecting them to be that much. Seems like anything made out of SS is 5X the price of normal hardware.

You probably can if you just look for the right sized ones that don't specifically say they are for Weber grills.
I’ve actually looked for stainless cross drilled clevis pins for a ridiculous amount of time. I admittedly get frustrated with the internet and will cut bait after 15-20 minutes, but finding these in the same length, and girth (in SS) has been super frustrating.

Then I don't feel too bad about buying these. Besides, I'm not going to put them on flip grills anyway.

I get the buying local and supporting the brick and mortar guy, but they really should not cost that much.

I usually buy mine at Ace hardware too. I honestly can't remember how much they were. I usually reuse most of a grills original bolts anyway so I'm not buying them in bulk or I would just get them on Amazon. I do always replace the cook box bolt and nut with stainless ones, and sometimes frame bolts if I have a loose frame to try and tighten it up.

It’s been handy to have some spare nuts and bolts around. I have a little bin full of rehabbed grill hardware. The last Genesis Gold I did I replaced all the hardware with stainless. Adding maybe $8 to my cost (the tank bumper bolts were $3 of that. Looked so nice though.

Great place to buy that type of hardware as well is Farm & Fleet. Sold by the pound. Back when I was doing a lot of stuff especially when I lived in Woodstock and F&F was right down the street and I was restoring my old Allis Chalmers tractor I went through a lot of hardware like that. Nothing metric on that thing
