I'll get around to cleaning them up. For now I'll put one of my brand new sets on the "nice" gold and move the also nice, cleaned up set to the project grill. I'm going to do the same thing with the new grease tray and drip tray I have coming. It makes sense to me to do it that way. It brings that grill that much closer to being brand new while not taking anything away from my project.

I totally agree and I also do that with my flip grills. If it's a higher model or a nicer grill

It took me a little bit to figure out what knobs these were. I knew they look familiar but not Spirit or Genesis as described.

I wish it was a right but I'm happy with the left also. Right is just harder to find and more rare. If you zoom in on the bracket it has a L on it signifying left

That is correct you have to have one with an R on his signifying right hand.

Although you could easily modify it to work on either side that's not really something I would want to do.

You would just have to flip it over and cut a notch in the other side.

I did this, there’s no issue at the “ rest “ end, the rod isn’t long enough to lock in the rest position.
