I totally agree and I also do that with my flip grills. If it's a higher model or a nicer grillI'll get around to cleaning them up. For now I'll put one of my brand new sets on the "nice" gold and move the also nice, cleaned up set to the project grill. I'm going to do the same thing with the new grease tray and drip tray I have coming. It makes sense to me to do it that way. It brings that grill that much closer to being brand new while not taking anything away from my project.
