Weber Parts Deals

Well, the add says they are 16 ga and 304 SS. Not sure beyond that how much better they can be. Do you have a link to the SF537 bars?

Oh, yah, those are the Votenli ones. Those have been my go to for Silver B's for the last two years. I have probably bought 20 sets of them. But, it seems the last sets that I bought have an issue with the burners. The middle burner is too short or the set is just designed wrong in that the middle burner is able to slide to the left and OFF the valve when they are installed. I have taken to welding a mod to solve that issue, but it is one extra step I don't think I should have to deal with. And without the modification, it is clearly a safety issue. The quality of the bars and burners is otherwise very good, especially the flavorizer bars.

These Qulimetal ones seem to have specs that at least match the Votenli ones. I will compare when I get my set and post back.

I've bought several different Qulimetal parts for several different models of Weber and always been more than satisfied with their high level of quality. Burners, flav bars and grates.

Yes, I had that issue with the Votenli burners as well on a Gold C I did recently. I look forward to your review! I too am ordering a set.

Something I did on the 1000 LX that I will likely do going forward with the "floating" middle burner was to take a chisel and give it a good tap on the washer in the middle of the notch the burner slides into, and it still allows room for a little wiggle, but helps snug them up a bit.

I would agree! Wasn't the grease tray and drip pan deal Qulimetal? Those were pretty nice as well!

I agree Josh. I have bought several of their (Qulimetal) grill parts and never felt a need to return any of them. So, I am hoping these prove out to be in line with their normal quality and with the reduced price, they are competitive. If so, I will stock up on a few more sets.

I'll be happy to hear your results Bruce. I'd be surprised if you have any issues with them but if you do I would definitely be interested to know. Thank you

Cody, I am not sure what you are describing here? Can you explain further for us old guys with Biden brains.

My crossover tube always falls out, the listing says 13 and a half inch but true measurement is 13 and one eighth.
Little bastards can't read a tape measure

Kind of a bad example because it’s an original Weber burner. But I get the burners and crossover tube set where I like on the valve (if the original screw and washer doesn’t come out), and dent the washer so it can’t slide any further away from the valve. Then the rigidity of the two screwed down tubes makes it so the center burner can’t move in or out because it’s held in place by the crossover.

Kind of a wordy description. Next one I do I will try and remember to take better pics.
