Josh, I definitely love those wood handle ones! I have a spatula and a set of tongs that I restored. I have them on display as I haven't been able to bring myself to use them!

I also do like both the stainless set you posted here and the fancier set with the small black trim you posted earlier.

I still need to restore the wood on my wood handle set. I'm just not sure if I want to stain or just clear coat them. If I come across another set identical to this wood handle set I will definitely buy another set
 
Looks that way to me. Mine was pretty worn on the handle, so I sanded, stained and coated with spar urethane. I used gloss because I really like it so much that I wanted it to be safe to occasionally use. Now I wish I had used satin as I did on the spatula which was in better shape in the first place.

I have always been happy with my Weber Precision set. These more exotic ones are if you just have the resources to go all out and enjoy extra heavy tools.
