Weber Motherload!

Will the Genesis be coming back to Calif. also. A little bit of love and it will be like new. I will take a 1000 over almost anything on the market today. We love our Genesis Redhead 1000. Your redhead kettle is already looking great.

I have decided to also bring the Genesis back with me to California. I cleaned all of the cobwebs out of it yesterday, and I couldn't believe how much better built it is than the Spirit Gasser that I currently own.

Couldn't wait to get the Redhead back to CA, so breathed some new fire into her last night with some steaks and corn:

Sweet grill.

Family heirlooms those are. That red kettle is probably 30+ years old and has at least another 30 years life left in her. Think of Papa every time you use it

If you have a problem with the rotisserie, just remove the cover on the motor and gears and clean out the old grease and relube with something like white lithium grease. I bought an unused roti for my Genesis still in the original box and I had to do that so it would work. Works great now. In many cases, the old stuff works best.
