I have one. Yes and no, it clips together and is actually fairly together. It’s not going to pop apart easily.
I’m the end, is it worth $100? I’m not so sure, but I figured what the heck, I have slid down the Weber collection slide so I pulled the trigger because of that. Maybe some day it’ll be collectible

If you don't already have a Vortex, then this makes sense and may be worth the 100.00.
For those that have a Vortex, simply pick up the diffuser for the Vortex.
I think it would definitely result in a consistent low and slow snake method cook a more even result.

The thing that actually appeals to me is the ease of fouling the ring as opposed to getting foil to lay down in the kettle easily. No, it’s just kind of frustrating when it’s windy.
