I've heard so many good things about Maple Leaf hardwood charcoal briquets, what about Weber's brand? I've seen it posted that Weber's is considered 100% hardwood, but someone told me sometime ago it was the same thing as Kingsford.
Is this true?

I bought 1 bag of Weber charcoal 1 time, and I remember it was a good bit more than Kingsford. Is it the same as Kingsford or is it more like Maple Leaf? I can't find any specs anywhere on the internet about Weber briquets, not even on Weber's web page.

Great topic as I have never heard of anyone ever using it nor have I ever seen it. Funny but even the Weber restaurants in chicago use kingsford charcoal so I wonder if it is still in production.

Funny, someone just e-mailed me the other day asking about the availability of the Weber hardwood charcoal briquettes.

I called Customer Service, and they said that Weber is no longer offering the product.

Regards,
Chris
