Weber 63050 wheels discontinued, now what?

Some time I'd like to know your tips and tricks for removal and install of wheels and Weber hood badge. If you don't mind sharing.
Sure, those are both easy. Just pull one of the wheel hubs off with a pair of channel locks. Clean up the axle in your drill using a piece of sandpaper. Start with a coarse grit and graduate to a finer grit to polish it. I clear coat the axle right away to keep it from rusting again. Reinstall new wheels and hammer on a new hub cap.

Remove badge from lid by prying those little nuts off with a razor blade or small flat head screwdriver. Spray some brake cleaner on the badge and wipe it down. Spray the badge with hi heat ultra and let dry for at least a few hours. Set a piece of sandpaper on a flat board and start rubbing the badge to remove the paint from the border. If you want the aluminum border to be shiny, use finer grit sandpaper after all the paint is removed. Reinstall badge with the original nuts or buy new ones at Ace hardware.

I read through the reviews and the new 8" Weber Wheels do come with new axle/wheel caps. As they should for that price. They aren't shown in the pictures and I can't find any thing about them in the description.

I want to say that each wheel comes with two new ones. Since you realistically only need one for two wheels that should give you some extra ones.

Ok, I took the plunge today and painted my Genesis 5 original wheels.
The inserts have been ordered from Chucks Inserts.
$35 shipped.
I used gloss black, maybe I should spray them with satin black 🤔1000007474.jpg1000007480.jpg
